The Wayside Senior Program provides social setting that enable elderly individuals to maintain their independence and remain at home in the community. The goal of these services is promoting family and community, responsibility, and reduction of taxpayers cost. We are committed to improving the quality of life for all older persons through the effective administration of programs:

History

The Wayside Senior Program was incorporated in 1980 as a not-for-profit organization to provide community-based alternatives to the institutionalization for elderly and homebound individuals.

Vision Statement

The Wayside Senior Program, with caring, accountability, and professionalism, provides social services for elderly persons, so they may attain their maximum degree of health and independence. In doing so, we will help them to remain in their homes and in the community, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all community residents.

Transportation

The Wayside Transportation Unit, works hard to service its senior community, and our drivers continue to make a superb difference in the community.

The services we offer consist of daily pickups & return trips to Medical Appointments, Bank, Group Trips, and Social Security Administration. In addition, we provide transportation to other centers, shopping, and running other errands.
